Does the Louis Vuitton Alzer break at the baggage claim?

Is it true that a louis Vuitton Alzer break easily if you traveled by plane? I heard that the people there will throw your suitcase no matter what the brand is, and because its made out of wood it will break easily!! So i'm thinking of buying one OR not because i'm not wasting almost seven thousand dolor suitcase that i'm gonna use once so please is it a waist or that the bag never break??? HELP!?

posted onAirport luggage handlers are BRUTAL. You would think that someone who handles your belongings would show some respect for your private property but no. I have seen pieces of luggage fall several meters onto the tarmac, then get tossed onto a heap with other bags. In this modern age it is beyond me why luggage is handled in such a neanderthal fashion. Anyone out there ever heard of automation, conveyor belts?
